Great book for Fourier Series. Well-explained for a topic that has the potential to be confusing depending on the angle the author chooses to approach it. Each book seems to have a different approach and I like how this book doesn’t jump to conclusions without a thorough explanation.
I'm about 80 pages in, but so far, this has been a very nice, descriptive treatment of Fourier series and properties thereof.Essentially everything stated is proved. And there are ~20 problems at the end of each chapter, varying in difficulty. With solutions or hints to most in the back of the book.Overall. Fantastic treatment.
Great book. This helped me teach myself Fourier series relatively easily. I love all of these "Dover Books" - they're very well written, clear, and concise with good examples all the way through. And the price compared to modern texts.....how can you beat it? I would recommend to anyone.
My propose when I bought this book was understanding what was behind in quantum mechanics.So far, I have understood a lit bit more that formalism.It's really recommend.Enjoy.
