really good book
This is a really good book. I work with young children who have asperger's and I recently got this for a girl who was going into 4th grade. It reinforces the idea that it is ok to be different, which is something any girl at that age should hear.
I LOVED this book.
My favorite read aloud book for fifth graders. They stay engrossed and love the 'bad boy' character as well as Sahara. Some of us even cry when she talks about her dad. I usually have to put the book down and wipe away my tears.
